Syarikat Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS) menyerahkan kumpulan kedua skuter elektrik Modenas MEV-1 PRO sebanyak 1,092 unit kepada Pos Malaysia sebagai sokongan kepada komitmen untuk mencapai elektrifikasi penuh menjelang 2030.

Kesemua skuter elektrik ini akan dihantar secara berperingkat menyertai armada EV Pos Malaysia sedia ada  yang terdiri daripada 220 unit motosikal elektrik (termasuk 140 unit MEV-1 yang telah diserahkan sebelum ini) dan 143 van elektrik.

Modenas MEV-1 PRO telah direka untuk memenuhi keperluan spesifik dan tuntutan operasi perkhidmatan logistik dan penghantaran, menyokong kapasiti beban sehingga 250 kg, kuasa maksimum 4.3 kW (5.8 hp) serta keupayaan untuk mendaki cerun sehingga 19 darjah.

Syarikat MODENAS akan menyediakan khidmat penyelenggaraan dan servis yang menyeluruh untuk MEV-1 PRO menerusi rangkaian pusat servisnya di seluruh negara.

Difahamkan, skuter elektrik MODENAS MEV-1 juga akan ditawarkan kepada pengguna umum dengan versi yang lebih mampu milik diperkenalkan bermula suku pertama 2025 (Q1 2025).
