Audi Q7 2025 open for booking – CKD unit, estimated price RM469k-RM489k

PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) as the official distributor of Audi vehicles in Malaysia announced the opening of orders for the Audi Q7 flagship SUV model for the local market.

The first locally assembled (CKD) version of Audi’s SUV in Malaysia and Southeast Asia will be offered with a selling price between RM469,000 and RM489,000.

From an external perspective, the Audi Q7 comes with the sporty S line styling package, coupled with the Black Styling Package Plus consisting of an Audi Singleframe, Q7 badge, an anthracite grey Audi logo, rear spoiler and 22-inch Audi Sports rims.

Apart from that, there is also an HD matrix LED main lighting unit consisting of Audi Laser Light and OLED Digital, an adaptive air suspension system and also an all-wheel steering feature.

The Audi Q7 is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TFSI engine producing 340 PS and 500 Nm, mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive system.

Acceleration from 0-100 km/h is as fast as 5.6 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.

This powertrain unit is also assisted by a 48V technology mild hybrid system (MHEV) for operational efficiency and reduced emissions.

There are up to seven different driving modes that can be selected via the Audi Drive Select function.

For the cabin space, the Audi Q7 comes with Sports Seat Plus, Valcona leather trim, a flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel, paddle shifters, a 30-color ambient lighting package, and a head-up display screen.

Other features include soft-close doors, massage function for the front seats, four-zone climate control, wireless smart device charging slot, and not to mention the Bang & Olufsen 3D audio system.

The cargo space is 780 liters and can reach up to 1,908 liters for the convenience of the whole family.

There are four colors to choose from including Glacier White, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black and Daytona Grey with a pearl finish.

2025 Jetour Dashing officially launched in Malaysia – price from RM109,800

Jetour Auto Malaysia today officially launched the Dashing 2025 C-segment SUV model for the local market.

Offered in two main variants, Comfort and Prime, the Jetour Dashing is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine producing 154 hp @ 5,500 rpm and 230 Nm of torque @ 1,750-4,000 rpm.

The power is channeled to the front wheels via a six-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT).

There are three driving modes offered, namely Economy, Comfort and Sport.

Using Kunlun architecture, the Jetour Dashing features dimensions of 4,590 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,685 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

This makes Dashing capable of competing with Japanese-made C-segment SUV models, such as the Honda CR-V and the Toyota Corolla Cross.

Standard exterior features include 18-inch rims, front and rear LED lights, and an electric tailgate.

The cargo space can accommodate up to 486 liters of goods, and can reach up to 977 liters when the 60:40 split second-row seats are folded flat.

Meanwhile, for the cabin, there is a 10.25-inch digital cluster screen, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a CN95 cabin air filter, a 50W wireless smart device charging slot, an automatic air conditioning system, leather seat upholstery, a six-way adjustable driver’s seat and a four-speaker audio system.

The Prime variant gets additional features such as a panoramic glass roof, four-way electric adjustment for the front passenger seat, an ambient lighting system and a 360-degree surround monitoring system.

In terms of safety, the Jetour Dashing gets features such as six airbags, ABS, EBD, brake assist, traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, and ISOFIX mounts.

The Prime variant adds safety equipment such as a blind spot monitoring system, lane change warning, and rear cross traffic warning, a blind spot detection system, door opening warning, and a 180-degree transparent floor view.

For the Malaysian market, the Jetour Dashing is sold at prices starting from RM109,800 to RM116,800.

Proton e.MAS7 emerged as the best-selling EV sold in Malaysia

For the entire month of March, Pro-Net, a subsidiary of Proton, has successfully sold 797 units of the Proton e.MAS7 electric SUV.

This brings the total e.MAS7 deliveries to 1,853 units for the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, contributing to a market share of 30 percent so far this year, making it the number one EV in Malaysia.

According to Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of Pro-Net, “We would like to thank our customers for their support and unwavering confidence in the Proton e.MAS7, as well as their trust in us to provide an ecosystem that allows them to enjoy the electric driving experience.

“This achievement will be an encouragement for us to continue to improve ourselves in offering high-quality products and providing a better ownership experience to our customers,” he said.

For the Malaysian market, the Proton e.MAS7 is offered in two variants, namely Prime priced at RM105,800 and Premium priced at RM119,800, valid for the first 6,000 bookings.

For the convenience of users, Proton provides 75 DC charging points of up to 120 kW at several dealerships.

In addition, owners can also gain access to over 90 percent of the charging points that exist in Malaysia operated by Gentari, JomCharge, chargEV, DC Handal, Chargesini, Carput Zap, RExharge and Charge+, as well as an integrated charging map directly through the Proton e.MAS app.

According to Zhang Qiang, “our goal is not just to sell cars, we want to develop a complete ecosystem that involves not only 36 dealerships, but also the entire EV charging infrastructure in Malaysia.

“We are also working closely with charging point operators (CPOs) to make EV ownership easier as we want our customers to transition from ICE to EV seamlessly.”
